I've been trying to download Sea of Thieves from the Microsoft store over the past two days. At the start it said that the download size was 27gb which sounded reasonable, but what seemed strange to me was that I was getting up to 20mb/s download speed, which is unheard of where I live. I thought it was strange but decided to accept it and at that speed the download should have been done in around an hour or so. The download went on for the next day, and when it got to the 27gb mark, instead of finishing the download the size kept increasing as the amount downloaded increased. when it got to 30gb downloaded I canceled the download and restarted it. The download size went up to 50gb, which I figured was probably updates or some such, a little bothered that it wasn't shown in the original download but i would deal with it. The next day came and it reached the 50gb mark and kept increasing to the point where I am over 100gbs downloaded and have had speeds around 300mb/s to 3gb/s which is not my real speed at all. I have tried clearing the cache manually, using wsreset, and 'uninstalling' the game, which doesnt actually remove any of the game files for me. occasionally through the download it would stop and say installing but then go right back to downloading after it finished. at the moment of typing this it has reached 115gb.
